A big "thank you" to all who made the Pumpkin Show our best yet! Our float got 2nd place!
Remember our church-wide camping weekend October 3rd - 5th. Cost is $20 per night to benefit building fund. Meals: Friday night soups will be provided. Saturday breakfast and lunch will be on your own. Saturday 5 p.m. - Supper will be provided for $4/hotdogs; $5/hamburgers; $6/pork chops (bring your own drinks and desserts for the weekend). Next Sunday morning is Homecoming Sunday and the beginning of our fall revival. Join us at 9:00 for worship, followed by Sunday School and then lunch. Soup beans, cornbread, and meat will be provided. Please bring your favorite salad, vegetable, or dessert. There will be no second service next week. If you would like to dress in old-fashioned clothes, that would be great! Kids need to bring a frog for the frog race.
We will have an auction at the fairgrounds on Saturday, October 11th. The money raised will be used for the family life center. Please decide on the items you can donate by Sunday, October 5, so the sale list can be completed.
We will be taking pictures for our pictorial directory December 3rd - 6th. (It's been five years!) If you have graphic design experience or if you would like to help on this project, see Pastor David.
We need addresses for college students. Please pick up a form on the table in the foyer, fill it out, and put it in the offering plate or give it to Jeanne Shivers.
